Very Slow Performance When Exporting a List Page to Excel

I have a custom list page consisting of some very large tables, the list page opens and scrolls fine, even with filters applied to it. When exporting this to Excel, it can take a really long time to export less than 1000 records.

Indexes are in place, statistics updated any other things to look at to make this faster?

    The report is sent to excel using CTRL+T function.  All other list pages, the sending to Excel is pretty quick. For my custom list page it can take up to an hour for less than 1000 rows.

    Hi SergiPB,

    What and how many tables are used in the query of this list page? What fields are included in the query?

    Did you create a query with just fields selected to be used on the list page or are all fields of all tables present in the query?

    If the system needs to join a lot of tables and/or has to retrieve all columns it might be slow.
