    Hi,

FA will not have a Gen Prod posting group.
While adding a prepayment %, it will always check for it, and if it's blank, it will give an error.

So, prepayment is not possible in this case.

    Thanks,
    KP

    Hello good day,

Yes, you can purchase an Fixed asset trough a purchase order and treat it as a Prepayment Invoice.

    Here's a quick sample:
Create a PO as bellow, in my sample I have considered Prepayment as 100% but we can set any %

Ensure that Fixed Asset  is properly setup at General Product Posting Group field Purchase Prepayment  Account.
From PO perform a Preview of PO Prepayment Invoice

Hope this can help you to move forward.

    Have a nice day.

    Kindest Regards,

It should let you create the prepayment invoice as long you have the setup the Fixed Asset properly and Gen Posting Setup is defined.
