SharePoint Document Management Issues in Dynamics 365 F&O

Hi,

I am trying to connect my existing SharePoint Document Library in D365 F&O environment. After January I have observed if the number of documents in any document library in the SharePoint Site collection is more than 5000, I am getting the below error when referring the SharePoint Site collection:

This was not the behaviour before December 2019. Can someone confirm if they are also facing the same issue?

The issue I am not able to understand is, I get the above error when I click on the Site Collection. I may have hundred of Document Libraries in SharePoint and if only one is more than 5000, I cannot use any other document library

    Hi AX Learnder,

    My knowledge and understanding of this message is that the SharePoint list view - that you can specify e.g. based on a date range - limits the number of documents that you can view when opening the site.

    This does not mean that the document is not available on sharepoint or has not been stored there.

    The message simply says that SharePoint cannot illustrate more than 5000 elements when opening the library.

    I would recommend that you create a new default view for this document library that filters less than 500 records.

    This should fix the issue and remove the warning message.
