BankStatement import fails using data entity

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

We are using BAI format to import bank statement using standard data entity and security role of 'Treasurer' and  'Accountant'.

We granted access to these roles on BankStatementLineStaging table (Which are not supposed to as it's a standard security role) but still not working.

However, this is working fine on our other customers environment. Can anyone throw some light on what could be done or what is missing?

We are getting below error.

User 'testuser1' is not authorised to delete a record in table 'BANKSTATEMENTLINESTAGING'. Request denied.
Cannot edit a record in Bank statement report entry (BankStatementLineStaging).
Access Denied: You do not have sufficient authorisation to modify data in the database.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Let's forget about other environments.

    We followed below article

    [View:https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/axsupport/2017/01/11/dynamics-365-for-operations-import-bank-statement-using-bai2-format/:750:50]

We do not have any customization around it. It's all standard. We are using Security role Accountant and Treasurer but we can import statement only if it's system admin security role granted to user.

Below is the error after importing the bank statement on D365.

Below is the log from BankStatement Data entity log.

    Hi VDY,

Did you say that it works fine in Test but not in Prod? Can you clarify what you mean exactly by saying other customer environment?

    Many thanks and best regards

    Ludwig
