Hey guys!

I want to import information to my subgrid, I will explain you my situation.

I have one entities called "Club" and the other one is "Users".

In the entitie "Club", I have a SubGrid with multiple users in it.

In the entitie "Users", I have the a SubGrid with multiple club in it. (Actually, the same that is chosen in the entitie "Club")

I would like to know how do I import my User or my Club, so I can specify which Club or User I want to link it with?

In general, Club and have multiple Users, and Users can have multiple clubs.

There is no field in the "Import File" where I can specify the club or user I want to join it with.

Thanks for any help!

    RE: Import SubGrid Data

    Hey !

    The XrmToolBox is finally working.

But I am still at the point where I am looking for a way to import data in a subgrid.

When I download the "Club" Template, I have only 2 field that is "Name" and "Owner" even tho I have 2 subgrid in this entitie.

How do I make the link between the 2s if I have no field in my Template file?

    Thanks for any help

    RE: Import SubGrid Data

So I tried to unblock the file with this method.

I think it did work but I am not 100% sure because I don't know how to check it.

After all, I still get an error.

I can make my connection without any problem, but then when I go in the Import/Export tool and I Click the "Load Metadata", I still get an error.

My Windows is in french so I will try to translate it generally.

    It say:

An error occured on the HTTP response at

    http://*****/MicrosoftDynamics/XRMServices/2011/Organization.svc.

The reason can be that the link at the terminal point use something else that is not HTTP.

It can also be due to a ignored context from the HTTP (maybe because the service is stopped)

For more infor check the server log.

I am using dynamics On-Premise (still in trial) and I don't know that to do right now -_-

    Thanks for any help!

Yeah I did unblock the .zip before extrating the elements to a folder.

Maybe there is still some elements blocked?

Where can I see the list of blocked elements?

I will try to unblock the element with the CMD like in the post you gave me.

    Thank you !

Check whethe dll's are in blocked  status. Download the zip file and right click the zip file and select unlock all files before unzipping the content. By default windows blocks dll if it's  downloaed online.

Below post has steps to unblock all dll's in the folder using cmd

    Hey !

    Thank you for your reply.

I tried XRMToolBox but it has an error in the Importing/Exporting tool I think.

I can't use it, every time i click on "Load Metadata" it brings up an error.

Do you guys think it's only in this version of the software or it's the configuration here that blocks something?

    Thanks for any help :)

    RE: Import SubGrid Data

The Import tool can be used to import entities with 1:N relationship not N:N. There is a free utility by Tanguy that can help you.

You could use the Import/Export NN Relationships tool that is part of xrmtoolbox. Download:  xrmtoolbox.codeplex.com

    Hi..

You cannot use CRM default data Import feature for this.. as you have Club to user N:N relationship..
