Hi,

We need to get the image from the product page to display it on a webpage. We have been able to get product information, but it seems to be harder to get the image from the product page.

How can we be able to get the image, either encoded file or URL?

This is the image we want to get from the product page in AX2012R2CU7:

We are using the standard catalog.

Thank you!

Best regards,

Daniel

    Thank you for your fast reply Denis!

    I think that article is about retail and POS. We just want to get the image directly from the product page as we get the other product information. But maybe retail is the way to go in order to get it..

    Thanks!

    Hi Daniel

    Below the code used by AX to retrieve a Product Image on Release Product form.

    EcoResProductImageManagement productImageManagement;

    productImageManagement = EcoResProductImageManagement::newFromCommon( InventTable::find("Item") );

    productImageManagement.loadProductImage(productImage);

    However, this return a Container.

    So, when you have the image object, you can do a little customization like :

    image.saveImage(....

    or something like that to retrieve the image file.

    Hi again Denis,

    We managed to get the images out by cutting of the 7 first bytes of every image, then it was displayed correctly. I don't know what these bytes are for but it seems to work for all images.

    Regards,

    Daniel
