Problems with changing global dimensions

Hello,

Could you please help me to define a problem while changing global dimensions in NAV 5.0. I follow all the instructions in manual but the programm still says 'You must run this batch job twice to reverse the global dimensions'. I'm running it over and over again and can't find the clue how to complete it. I have 'OFFICE' as the Global Dimension 1 and 'DEPARTMENT' as the global dimension 2. I need to simply rearrange them.

    A late answer, but maybe this helps somebody. You can't switch places of dimension codes between Global Dimension 1 and 2 in one step. First change Global dimension 1, and set global dimension 2 temporarily for example to empty. When you are done with this, go back and change Global dimension 2.

    Hi, i have the same problem. I tried what You suggested Jens, but the program says that the dimension is used in accounting settings. How do I change in accounting settings?

    Hi Michelle,

    As mentioned Jens Winsberg you can change globel dimensions. To change global dimensions you need to go to General Ledger Setup, Change Global dimensions
