In Data Management, If Export job fails need to send mail

Hi,

In Data Management we have configured many recurring export jobs to BYOD. Some time the export Job fails and it create issue. I need to get notified via email when export job fails. I don't know how to do this in D365FO. Please help.

Hi Manivannan,

You can try to create custom alert (Options - Create custom alert) for execution history table (Job history button in Data project). The rule could be when Staging status or Target status set to "Error". But I noticed that export could fail even without Error status. In some cases, they can be stuck in Executing status.

Yes you can add alerts and I would put them on Execution log. Data Management -> Job History -> Execution Details -> View Execution Log
