I am creating a legal entity for Singapore company.
There is a tax register number, e.g. 202306011A
I was trying to input it in Organization administration > Organizations > Legal entities > Tax registration (Tab) > Tax registration number (Field)
However, there is an error message ''The length of the numeric part of the enterprise number 202306011A is incorrect.''
There should be 9-10 digits for Singapore tax register number, that the current one does not exceed the length.
Does anyone know the root cause?
Or Should I input it in ''Registration IDs'' instead of this field?
Follow up:
I found the root cause ----- Input sequence
Have error: Enter 'Registration ID' > 'Enter Tax registration number'
Have no error: Enter 'Tax registration number' > 'Registration ID'
Did you set the country as ''Singapore'' in legal entity?
If it is not ''Singapore'', such as US or UK, the record with the tax register number can be saved.
In my testing environment, I set 'SGP' as the country code.
Hi STP
I just tested the same number in my test environment, and I am not facing any issue. Can you please recheck?
Please let us know if this helps.
Thanks,
