NAV 2009 Data Migration Tool - Cannot Select Non-Standard fields

Hi All,

We are trying to use the Data Migration tool to import into NAV (under Administration>Company Setup> Data Migration) as this is easier than creating a dataport. However, when we attempt to select the Migration fields to include in the import, any fields in the table that are not standard NAV fields do not appear in the Migration Fields list. I suspect this is a License issue but would like to verify this. Can anyone advise if that is the problem?

    Hi Blairstid,

     

    Maybe is some new field.

    Please check Table 8616-Migration Table Field and see if that field ID has "Include" checked.

    If your field ID is not in that table, you can add it (I recommend to check "Validate" also).

    Hi Blairstid,

    I think you can solve your problem deleting and recreating the line from the Data Migration form. For example if you are not able to see a custom field of the Customer table, you can select the line of the table 18, delete the line and finally create again the line.
