Hi:

When an end user utilizes the "Edit in Excel" feature of Business Central and has "SUPER" user security rights, what's the best remedy for getting data to actually appear in Excel when data in fact isn't showing?

Thanks!

John

    Can you provide some screenshots?
There are no errors? But there's no data?
Can you see this data in BC?
Is it because the company or environment that was opened is wrong?
PS: Dynamics 365 Business Central: Switching environments and companies directly in the Edit in Excel file

    Thanks.

As per above problem Statement , Edit in Excel feature will work you have necessary permission sets .

    Check this permission

    Below example ,
I have opened General journal screen and selected edit in excel .
In excel  at right side you will get Add-ins  If excel addins are not there then install it
    Sign-in with your BCE login

After Sign-in , I could retreive the data

    Hello John,

If an end user with SUPER permissions uses the Edit in Excel feature but no data appears, the issue is usually not with security rights but with the Business Central Excel Add-in.  Ensure the Excel add-in is properly installed and the user is signed in with the correct Business Central account. Try refreshing the connection one time.
