Record Level Security as per warehouse.

Hi All, We are facing a bad issue of our client. They need security will be done as per the Warehouse in inventory operations. But we know the Record Level Security is based on the user groups. But we need the security as per the warehouse instead of usergoup. So, is there any way to solve this problem? if possible then please let me know how to set or configure the warehouse wise RLS (Record level security) for inventory operation like inventory journal, on hand checking etc? Thanks in advance....

    I presume that by warehouse RLS you mean you need to control if a user can view and perform operations for a given warehouse or not. If so, then create a security group for RLS for each warehouse, and add users to groups as required.

    Please elaborate on your problem if the proposed solution does not apply.

    Hi all, Thanks all of you for replying me. I am elaborating to you all of problem. We are using different inventory dimension like : size , color, site and warehouse for keeping the item stock. So whenever we are setting the RLS on invent sum table ( where the On-Hand inventory information is stored)for a specific warehouse system is restricting user to see the stock for all the warehouses. Hope you can understand the pain area. Please give us any idea regarding this problem.

    Could you please explain how did you set restriction by warehouse for InventSum table (taking into account that there is no InventLocationId field on InventSum table)? Provide us with your RLS query pls.

    Did someone have an actual example of the solution for this? I have the same problem where I want users in one user group only to see On-hand for a sub-set of the warehouses.

    Hi Rajdip,

              I need your help, I am also doing record level security with User group and Warehouse on on hand inventory form. for ex. User group = "A" specify for on hand form with only warehouse "W10".
