Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire about the process of adding a new entity and view selection in Microsoft Dynamics. I would like to understand how I can include a new entity and have it available for selection from the dropdown menu.

Currently, our organization is utilizing Microsoft Dynamics for our business operations. As our requirements have evolved, we have identified the need to incorporate a new entity into our Dynamics environment. This entity would contain specific data and attributes that are crucial for our business processes.

Additionally, we would like to create a view selection within this new entity. The view selection should allow us to filter and display relevant records based on specific criteria. Having this functionality would greatly enhance our efficiency and enable us to work more effectively within the Dynamics system.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide guidance on the steps and procedures involved in adding a new entity and creating a view selection in Microsoft Dynamics. Specifically, I would like to understand how to ensure that the new entity appears in the dropdown menu for easy access and selection.

If there are any best practices, recommended resources, or documentation available that can assist me in this process, please do not hesitate to share them. Any insights or tips you can provide would be invaluable in helping us make the most of our Dynamics implementation.

Thank you in advance for your support and assistance. I look forward to your response and guidance on this matter.

Best regards,

[mohamad]

    Dear Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to request the creation of dashboards to track and monitor key metrics related to call attempts, reached conversations, and appointments for our team. We would like to have the following features included in the dashboards:

    1. Individual Employee Overview:

      • Display a comprehensive overview of call attempts, reached conversations, and appointments for each employee (currently Anni, Nils, Thomas, and Carola Weigold).
      • Present the data for each employee in a visually appealing format, such as tables or charts.
    2. Time-based Analysis:

      • Provide the ability to view the data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
      • Show the number of call attempts, reached conversations, and appointments for the selected time period.
      • Include a comparison feature to compare the current data with the previous day, week, and month to identify trends and changes.
      • Visualize the data using line graphs, bar charts, or area charts to illustrate the trends over time.
    3. Team Overview:

      • Present a consolidated view of the entire team by aggregating the metrics for call attempts, reached conversations, and appointments.
      • Include a comparison to the previous day, week, and month to provide a contextual analysis.
      • Utilize visual elements such as pie charts or bar charts to highlight each employee's contribution to the overall team performance.

We believe that these dashboards will greatly enhance our team's ability to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. We understand that creating these dashboards may require time and resources, and we appreciate your support in implementing this request.

Please let us know if you require any additional information or if there are any specific requirements for the data integration. We look forward to your response and appreciate your assistance in setting up these dashboards.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,
    [mohamad]

You can simply Create an entity via the below-mentioned step:

Settings > Customizations > Customize the System. In the Component Type list, select New, and then select Entity. Enter the following required information. For more information about the optional properties available, see Entity options that can only be enabled and Enable or disable entity options.

once you created the entity then you have to create fields in it

Once you are done with the creation of an entity then you have to create the view that you will use in the dashboard chart and dashboard.
