Production order picking list using a barcode scanner

Experts,

I want to know if follwing tasks can be acheived using barcode setup in AX:

1. Receiving items in warehouse against a purchase order using barcode scanner.

2. Issue items out of warehouse using production order picking list using barcode scanner.

    ScanWorkX supports AX 2009 and 2012 WMSI & WMSII barcode scanning.

    Using a hand-scanner and 2012 R3 I believe this is standard. If not you would need a 3rd party solution like RT-WMS or RF-SMART. Then it is a matter of configuring the workflows in the scanning solution.

    Hi,

    If you're using AX 2012 R3, and want to use the functionality in the Warehouse Management module then you have support for both of those activities on a handheld device (using a web browser).

    If you're using an older version of AX 2012, I would say that standard AX does not support handhelds. You would need some add-on or customisation. Two add-ons I have seen are:
