I am wondering if there is a way to pull the non-taxable sales amount in the default tax details transactions report in GP.

Sometimes default SmartLists don't display all the columns from the data source.. Have you checked if under "Columns" you can "Add" more columns and pick the one you're looking for ?
If it's not there, the only way to add more columns would be to "modify" the default SmartList and create a new one (the original ones cannot be modified). But this implies that you have the customization pack licensed with your GP contract and have SL Designer registered, or as an alternative, own the eOne Solutions SmartList Builder product (which also allows to create custom Excel reports).
Without any of the 2 options, there is no way you can add more fields to an existing SL or create new SL's from scratch.
PS: this is a public forum.. never post screenshots that can potentially reveal some of your client's data.. the names should be obfuscated before pasting the images.
