Change view for each language

I want to change permissions for each language user on Dynamics Finance.

If you're French and you set French on user settings on FO, you can see a page.

If you're Spanish and you set Spanish on user settings on FO,you can't see a page.

How can I make this scenario happen?

I want that permissions depends on user setting language.

Looked for the solution on security roles, duties, privileges, and security configuration a few weeks.

But I finally couldn't find the solution.

I have the same question (0)

I'm not sure if this is possible. Could you describe your business requirement? What page is this? Why would you want to hide it based on the user's language?

Users are free to change their language, so hiding/showing something based on the language is not going to add any security in your system.

Anyway, you can show/hide elements (such as buttons) on forms, based on the user's language. This would require x++ development.

    Thank you.

I want restrict what each user do based on the user's location.

I don't think it's the best way to hide some pages on the user's language.

But I don't have any ideas other than that...

    Hi,

I don't think this security approach is best fit, user can change their language by their own and then it can not have any security restriction.

Rather than finding this so complex solution, it is good you start creating custom role what you want to have in permission.

    Example-

Role name- French user will have specific access and duty and privilege, and Spanish can have required roles, you can do many things by this solution.

User can travel to different locations and still have the same language. Can you just give different roles to users of France office and different to the users of Spain office?

    Hi Maxw,

Aren't you referring to the user setup and language that shows the menu items in the language selected or do you want to have 'more'?

If you want to have a more customized UI, the the new view functionality might be an option.

Yet, be careful with that especially if localization features change and new ones are added by MS.

In this case you would have to re-adjust your views.

This can involve a lot of work and I am not sure if it is worth the effort.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
