Hi,
we have a similar issue like it is written in the following thread. But i didn't find our problem in any forum.
https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/microsoft-dynamics-ax-forum/116682/ax-2009-label-problems
We have implemented the suggest solution in this thread but the problem still araise from time to time.
We are pretty up-to-date with our AX solution (Kernel version: 5.0.1600.3928, Application version: 5.0.1500.6491) and our productive system has two AOS instances (one for users and one for batch jobs, business connector and AIF) that access the same application folder. We have licensed three languages: english (en-us), german (de) and czech (cs).
From time to time the system "loses" over night the czech language. When a czech user opens the AX-Client in the morning he or she see at almost every place label ids but no label text (but there are some exceptions). When the user switch the client language to english or german he or she see the english or german label text. The bigger problem is that they cannot print any report in thier language. Because they get warnings that the language for the label ids are missing. Until now, every time when this problem has araised only the czech language was "lost".
The time frame I am talking about is between one and three months and in this time frame our productive system is rebooted several times through maintance activity like windows updates, updates to our Axapta business logic, maintance of the database. We also update our label files more or less regulary. And everytime when we do this we delete all label cache and index files.
Our current solution to this problem is a restart of both AOS instances. After that the problem with the czech language is gone. The language is again available for our czech users.
This problem araises without any activity through developers and/or administrators. For the last two times we are sure that we didn't have done anything on our productive system.
Did you have any suggestions for us? Thank you for your efford.
Regards
H. Richter
