how to know what the security role/duty/privilege/permission on any form is?

Dear 

is there a systematic way to find what are the security role, duty, privilege and permission for any button?

i want to learn how to locate the 

  1. role
  2. duty
  3. privilege
  4. permission

related to this particular form if i want to grant access to a certain user or revoke it 

what is the best way to do this systematically

    Other than checking the menu items' related security objects behind the button as suggested in the blog above, navigating through with the Security Development Tool on the functionality involved also gives you the same results.

    Thanks sukrut

    The blog helped a lot in one situation but in another particularly a checkbox this time the add-in >> security objects showed empty

    There must be other ways to find this one right?

    i actually read your comment and was following your instructions but i was unable to locate the download in LCS , so that is why i didn't reply or mark as answered

    After signing in to LCS using a Microsoft LiveID account that is associated with a PartnerSource/CustomerSource access, on the left hand side below the Getting started section there is a link to Downloadable tools.

    Hi,

    If you are want to know for a security role/privilege for a particular checkbox on a form, you need to check whether the needed permission on the control is set to yes or not.It should be set to yes, in order to use it under the forms node on the security role or privilege. Could you let us know what checkbox you are looking for, such that will try to provide you the details.
