Post picking journal with partially reservation

I have a picking journal for item A with a quantity of 100.

If I reserve 70, can I validate this journal and move the remaining 30 to another journal?

The system is blocking me. Any set up can help me ?

Hi,

Can you tell what exact menu path and form name you opened? If the system is blocking you, do you get an error message?

Probably you can add a screenshot with the form and a possible error message?

Scenario: Production Orders > Journals > Picking Journal
=> Create a new journal.
=> Add an item line with a quantity, for example, 100 units.

=> If you find only 70 units in stock, reserve them

=> Post the journal to deduct the 70 units from stock: For the remaining 30 units, leave them in a new journal by using the "Transfer errors to new journal" flag in the validation pop-up

Hi,

The error message tells you to provide values for the warehouse location and batch number. Did you check the contents of these fields in all of the lines?

Yes, I have verified the reservation dimensions of 70.

However, it seems that this message is seeking the dimensions for the remaining 30 to validate my order.

My question is, can I validate (proceed to deduct) the 70 and leave the 30 on order?
