Hi,
We are having issues with adding attachments in D365 F&O using Document types which has Location set to SharePoint. After selecting file for upload it stucks in uploading state and whole application becomes unresponsive (only IIS restart helps). Issues began after 10.0.21 update and only in OneBox environments (cloud hosted and local), however there is no issues with tier 2 environments.
Make sure ExternalId column has value for the user. You can check the column by either UI personalization or backend SQL. This column contains some value from SharePoint and plays very important role during the integration.
Yes, ExternalId is there.
What else is interesting that attachment creation works fine when done from code i.e. when ER destination is set to archive. Looks like it only does not work when attachments being added from DocuView form.

I would recommend you to check for event viewer to see if there is any type of error or crash for a better troubleshooting process.

Unfortunately I did not find anything useful in EventViewer
Take traces for both code & UI scenario. Compare them to figure out what's the difference.
If still no help, recommend you to raise support ticket to engage Microsoft teams.
