Mobile iOS app not working

Hello,

Since a few weeks our mobile app on iOS is not loading our production environment. When we click on the iOS link app to open the production we are asked to sign in. Upon signing nothing happens. We just see the signing progress wheel turn and nothing happens.

we did not do any development changes and it was working few weeks back

has anyone experience this issue? Our consultant are experiencing the same issue only on our production and not on their other clients. They have no idea what is going on

thanks

Mahdi

    Hello,

Does the name of the production environment differ from 'production'. Typically, urls to open the App use /Production by default. As a workaround you can have a look here for using a direct link:

    community.dynamics.com/.../the-only-business-central-url-you-ll-ever-need-and-why-your-mobile-apps-need-an-update

Another suggestion would be to verify if you can access the WebClient from the device (in your favorite internet browser, ensure that you configure it to open the  url on deskop view and not via the App).

    Thanks.

thank you Marco. The name is different and we resolved this by given the URL to the production. This has worked for a few weeks but then now no one can log in anymore. It tries to login to the production which has a different name and the login progress just get stuck. It used to work in the past, although i think it is a shame Microsoft does not let the user select the production environment or at least let it configure it in the settings of the app, but that is another problem

    Hello,

Yes, the demand from partner / customer community to be able to get more production / sandbox environments at their hands in an Office 365 tenant took more priority then being able to specify the name of the production in the universal apps. I am sure this is logged as a feature request in http://ak.ms/bcideas to have us address this. We cannot prioritize everything at the same time in the same order.

If there is still an issue that we cannot resolve via this forum, please do raise a support ticket via your CSP / BC partner.

    Thanks.

Is your iOS device jailbroken? If not, try to upgrade your iOS system. Or you can try to use TunesKit iOS System Recovery to fix your iOS software issues
