Multiple formulas in single column

Posted on by 10

Hi.  I need to create a report with two different formulas in the same column and am having trouble getting it to work.  For example, in the variance column for revenues, I want the formula to be columns C-D.  In the same variance column for expenses, I want the formula to be columns D-C.  Any suggestions on how to best approach this?

Thanks!

The approach is a common approach here. You just need to give a if condition and based on that just populate the value. This can be done in dp class or directly at the report designer level.

Column F Normal balance select C next to your revenue accounts

sounds you need a if statement to identify which formulas you use in the column. such as if(i=1, C-D, D-C)
