ok, both ways are possible. DMF or Excel Add-in.
when you say "Update" do you mean correct them or upload the increases?
if you want to upload the increases, then you must also end the previous fixed salary (put an end date) and add a new line for the new compensation, with the correct reason code, and of course the start date and end date (never 2154-12-31)

what do you mean "a group of employees"?
import is available with DMF or with Excel Add-In, and yes, you can import the fixed comp-plan, if you are using the right table. please see the picture below, on how to use it with Excel Add-in
