High Bandwidth/Latency

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 110

After running CRM on the cloud for a few months now we can say that the high bandwidth/latency is a bit of an annoyance.  Some items/tasks take awhile to load.

We confirmed that there is a latency/bandwidth issue after running diag.aspx.

Any ideas on what we can do to improve performance?  Should we contact Technical Support?

Below is a sample of one of the many reports:

These numbers aren't too bad. Best performance occurs under 150ms of latency and over 50KB/sec of bandwidth. You are definitely within these ranges. I would say there is something else causing the delay in opening records etc... There has been a noticed increase due to the social pane and that is expected. I would start by capturing a Fiddler trace to review how long each script is taking to load.

Thank you for the response and the insight on those numbers.

Will try using Fiddler and see if maybe we can detect the culprit.  Will post back with any updates!
