We recently converted from AX 3.0 to AX 2009. Under 3.0, we were using a third party Purchase Requisition package and now we are using the Purchase requisition capability in AX 2009.
My problem is that, having set up a user group for Purchase Requisitions, people in the group are still unable to create or approve a requisition. Since I created this group from scratch, I am obviously missing something in the security, as some fields are grayed out and the user is unable to create or approve. As a temporary work around, I put everyone in the Buyer user group, but this is obviously only a short term work around.
Can anyone point me to an example for settings for a Purchase requisition user security group? Or, maybe send me a copy of yours for comparison?
Thanks.
Jim

I have the same question (0)Jim:
I just went through the same. What I found was that permissions in the Accounts Payable/miscellaneous were missing. There is a create, approve, complete in there. Cull through and check all that have PurchReq in the extension and you should hit it.
Not terribly specific, but hope it helps.
