AX 2012 R3 CU9 Data import/export framework

Hi experts,

I installed R3 CU9 on a R3 RTM machine. completed the software update checklist successfully.

But the DIMF components were not updated. So, I found that the components were not installed on the base RTM, and went ahead with installation using RTM package and later updated with the CU9 update package. It went fine without issues.

But now when I login, I only see the DIMF components that were part of RTM but not the latest components that I see on R3 CU9 VM.

Can some one help me point out what I may have missed. I installed the DIMF and updated the same on both AOS and SQL server.

Your help is highly appreciated.

    I am not sure if it's an option for you, but what I would try to do is get a slipstream CU9 package, and copy its content to an AX DVD. Then run the setup.exe and either uninstall first the DIXF and then reinstall it, or try to install it first over the current install.

    Hi Iulian, Thanks for the prompt response. I installed a hotfix KB3061216 as part of an update to DIXF module. Running software update checklist to try my luck. Will follow above solution and post the outcome.

    After I did a reinstall, I had to delete the labels to show the correct names. Some how the labels were pointing to old component names.
