Could someone suggest a solution as to how to resolve the following issue while copying the data from staging to Target. Though I have updated the value of Manual field to yes in the 'Personnel1' Number sequence code form. But when I upload the data to staging it works fine but when I validate and run the job to copy the data to Target the job fails. The following error is displayed.

Results. update not allowed for field 'HcmEmployeeEntity.PersonnelNumber'

Malin is right. the same thing happened to me when I had demo data.

The demo data is probably what is making this fail. The employer data is shared accros entities, so when you try to push your employers in production, you get the error because the demo-data is already there. If you try to export it with the Excel add-in I think this will confirm it.

yes I have demo data but I created a separate legal entity and then tried pushing the data through import. I will try using excel add in.

Do you have demodata in your production environment? I think that the data is trying to update some information. I recommend that you use the Excel add-in to first see the data you have registered, perhaps that will give you the answers on why it's failing. If that doesn't work, try to copy the data from the excel add-in from stage, and copy it in to the Excel add-in, in the production environment.

In Data Under System Admin->Data Management

Select Employee entity and load the excel file with matching header information

Once mapping is complete click Import

Data gets loaded into staging

Click on View Staging data

Click on Validate All from the header

And then click on Copy Data to Target link from the header

Error message is displayed

Results. update not allowed for field 'HcmEmployeeEntity.PersonnelNumber'
