Multiselect dropdown in portal without using place holder text field in dynamics 365

Hi,

I need to use more than 10 multi-select dropdowns for the CRM portal app.
i looked at this option. it is working.
https://community.dynamics.com/365/b/engineeredcode/posts/powerapps-portals-multiselect-option-set

However, if i keep the place holder text field for more than  10 dropdown fields. I will end up creating more than 20 fields (10 multi-select option set fields and place holder text fields which used to save the selected values. Then use a plugin to read from the text field to save the values to multiselect optionset field).

Is any way to implement a multi-select dropdown without having placeholder text fields?

    Hi SivaR,

Currently, within Entity forms of PowerApps Portal, the Multiple Option Set Type field is not supported. Please refer to the following article for more details:

Duplicate fields, multi-select option set, custom controls, Party List fields and business rules aren't supported in basic forms.

So you need use other ways to achieve indirectly.

Maybe you can try to use the following way:

Instead of opting for Javascript or writing a plugin, we can easily achieve multiple option selection through adding several individual Two-Option field sets to forms.

If you would like this feature to be added in portal, please submit an idea to Ideas Forum:Ideas (dynamics.com)

    Thank you Leah Ju,

For us, each dropdown lists have a long list of selections. adding check box option with two options set won't work well.

I will submit a request to MS to add this feature in the future release.
