Hi There,
We have been using Dynamic Web TWAIN for document scanning and printing for our network printers. Is there a way or other third-party plugin/solution for online instances?

Hi, may I know what you mean by "online instances"? Are you looking for a way to implement online scanner support in Office 365 (like Sharepoint, perhaps?). If so, would the target environment support HTML/JS/Web Sockets, etc.? If so, then Dynamic Web TWAIN is still a good choice.

Thanks for taking the time in answering. from online instances I meant dynamics CRM online. For Dynamic Web TWAIN I think we need a webserver which is not provided for CRM online.
Sorry for the delay in response. Dynamic Web TWAIN runs 100% within the browser. The purpose of a webserver is to serve the required files as static resources (files like the JavaScript or the Dynamsoft Service installer, etc.). These files can also be referenced from some other place. For example, if you can host certain files in your CRM online (just as static files as if they are images, etc.), this would work, or you can reference the files from other available web places, even from a CDN (https://unpkg.com/dwt@16.1.2/ for example).
Therefore, a webserver is not absolutely required after all. :)
BTW, if you are interested, can you send an email to support@dynamsoft.com which will create a ticket and our team will be able to reply in a much more timely manner. (We don't monitor other forums like this one here often)
