Migrating Temporary Vendors from GP

Hi:

An end user of GP to be migrated to Business Central would like his vendors that are in “Temporary” status to be flagged as such in Business Central, when the vendor master data is migrated from GP.

The one solution that I have thought of is to create a Vendor Posting Group in Business Central called “Temporary”, prior to the GP migration.

Hopefully, GP's migration tool can simply move such vendors directly into this Vendor Posting Group.

Can the GP migration tool perform this task?

As far as I know, this feature is not that smart, you can choose to migrate all vendors from Dynamics GP or only active vendors. So you must modify the Posting Group in GP first.
