Security role needed to download FetchXML for personal views

Hello,

I've got a problem when trying to edit filters in an entity-overwiew.
I've been trying to download FetchXML's for my saved views in a test tenant. 3 months ago, this worked fine, but now, there isn't even an option appearing where I can download them as a "normal" user (not Admin, in my case "Alan Steiner"). I'd like to know what user-roles I need to assign to get the "Download FetchXML" option back.

See attached files to understand what option is meant

Thanks in advance for answering my question :)

PS.: I apologize if categories or forum are wrong. Please edit this post accordingly.

Best regards

My response was crafted with AI assistance, tailored to provide detailed and actionable guidance for your query.
The "Download FetchXML" option is only available to users with specific security roles. If you're unable to see this option, it's likely due to missing permissions. To restore access, follow these steps:

    1. Required Security Roles

To download FetchXML for personal views, the user must have:

    • System Administrator or System Customizer role (full access)
    • OR the following specific privileges assigned to a custom security role:
      • Core Records → Saved Views: Read, Write, Assign, Append
      • Customization → View Definition: Read, Write
      • Customization → Entity: Read

    2. Assign Permissions in Power Platform Admin Center

    1. Navigate to Power Platform Admin Center (https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/).
    2. Select the Environment where the issue occurs.
    3. Go to Settings → Users + Permissions → Security Roles.
    4. Locate the affected user (Alan Steiner).
    5. Add the System Customizer role or modify an existing role by:
      • Editing Saved Views under the Core Records tab.
      • Granting Read access to View Definition under Customization.
    6. Save and apply changes.

    3. Refresh and Test

    • Have the user sign out and sign back in.
    • Open Advanced Find (Ctrl + Shift + Q) → Select View → Download FetchXML.

    Additional Notes

    • If the user previously had access, check if recent security role changes or Dataverse updates removed permissions.
    • Ensure the user isn't restricted by Teams or Business Unit hierarchy settings.

@Saif Ali Sabri thank you for answering. I have assinged all these roles - and even granted full access for all said roles - logged out and in again, but it still won't show the download FetchXML option. Is there anything else, something super obvious, I could be missing? I feel like this problem shouldn't be much of an issue, but I've been searching for a solution for 3 hours now. I've even assigned the System Admin role, which (obviously) did work, but now he's back to the User Role "Sales Manager"

So I've got a solution now. Whe you are in the power platform admin center, you go to the Security roles. There you switch to the tab "miscellaneous privileges"  - as shown in the attached picture - and switch to "Enable Download Fetch XML". There you can activate the privilege.
