Error when trying to open attachment under Notes

Hi Guys,

I have admin right but i can open all the attachments under notes. However all the employees with lower access rights are unable to view attached file under notes.

I am not sure wherever its security rights issue or there is something else I'm missing?

    If you are in System Administrator security role and not able to open, then there must be some other issue other than Security rights issue.

    Create a new Note and attach a .txt file and after that open it.

    Find out whether you (a user with System Administrator security role) are able to open this.

    It is happening just today (might be a service related issue)?

    Hi,

    I have system admin security rights and I have just tried to create a new record and attach text file. Record has saved, but I am still not able to open it. I get the same error message

    Hi Ras,

    Perform an advanced find on the notes and try to open the file from there. See if it opens up, if it does then the problem should be most probably your browser cache. Try to clear the cache and then try opening the file from 'notes' section this time.
