Looking to provide an update to our ERP roadmap. Is there a proposed release date for Nav 2018? Any offical documentation?
Any assistance would be fantasic.

NAV 2018 is released
PS, you also asked for any official documentation - you can find entire slidedecks on Microsoft PartnerSource and on the Dynamics Learning Portal, but here's a screenshot of a Roadmap slide from Microsoft.
It was shown in a presentation on Dynamics 365 Business Edition.
It is true that Microsoft may rebrand NAV or merge it into another offering family like Dynamics 365 Business Edition, but at least for this year, we are definitely getting a new version, currently codenamed Tenerife.
I feel comfortable saying this much: NAV is a very popular offering from Microsoft, and an important SMB product in its portfolio, with over 120,000 installs (head and shoulders, higher than ANY other Microsoft Dynamics ERP product). Whether Microsoft keeps or changes the name, this product will continue to be available for many years to come.
I hope this helps! If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"
As far as I'm concerned, there would be at least one more release of NAV in autumn 2017. My personal feeling is that it would anyway go to a cloud one day as a part of Dynamics 365, however this would happen when majority of the community would master Extensions developments. So we most likely have one-two years ahead. Then there would be of course hotfixes and cumulative updates for many years after...
Roberto had blogged from WPC2016 about that: https://community.dynamics.com/nav/b/arounddynamicsnavworld/archive/2016/08/04/nav-2017-roadmap
Look for more official evidence here: http://doccloud.eventpoint.com/ws/directdownload.ashx?program=wpc2016&documentID=355ad0be-6d48-e611-a517-00155d5066d7
Since 2013, Microsoft has released a new version of NAV each year, almost always between September and November.
By December/January, they begin working on the next version of NAV, which is given a codename (lately, a Mediterranean or exotic island like Sicily, Corfu, Madeira, and this year, Tenerife), a early adopter program is kicked-off, restricted access builds are released to a select audience, and by late summer, a beta version is made available.
Seeing as how the process is moving along at the same pace this year, it is highly likely that we'll have the next version of NAV this fall as usual.
I hope this answers your question. If it does, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"
Following the last release dates ... Probably fall 2017. It's codename is tenerife.
