Hi,
I'm trying to test how Azure API Management works with odata services. I know there's a blog post about the subject from March (https://community.dynamics.com/365/financeandoperations/b/sertansdynamicsax/posts/empowering-d365-fo-service-endpoints-with-azure-api-management-service-975825890)
But things have evolved since and now there's possibility to add OpenAPI as a new API (not blank API as in blog). My question is, how should I add the OpenAPI specification?
Let's say, I want to add Financial dimension entity (https://[myd365].dynamics.com/data/FinancialDimensionValues). What would the settings look like.
Hi migi111,
Why is it that you want to add the financial dimension entity?
What is the underlying reason for that?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Basically I need to test how API Management work with D365FO and I just wanted to create the easiest possible configuration by adding financial dimension as a backend API and then try to call it frontend. Does this answer your question?
Did you find a way to add D365FO using OpenAPI as a new API.
I might be wrong but as far as I know OpenAPI is still not supported on D365FO services. You still have to add it through Blank API or manually create you own OpenAPI specification.
