Hello all,

I am facing an error in my Dev Environment, It shows following error /Recursive write lock acquisitions not allowed in this mode/ whenever I click on view process details menu on Warehouse material movement process configuration form [Warehouse management -> Setup -> Process mining -> Warehouse material movement process configuration].

Facing the same when selecting the Process name drop down in Warehouse material movement analysis form [Warehouse management -> Inquiries and reports -> Warehouse performance analysis -> Warehouse material movement analysis]

Please refer the screenshots below.

Looking for advice on what's causing this error and how to fix it. Any help is appreciated !

Hi Mahesh,

What type of environment are you using? Is this environment connected with a Power Platform environment? If you are using a development environment, it should be created having a Power Platform environment linked to it. You can't update it afterward. Tier 2+ environments are probably already configured for having a Power Platform environment linked.

Hi Andre,

Thanks for the help ! I'm using a tier 1 environment that was created with Power Platform integration setup.

I was actually following the steps outlined in your 'THE F&O TWIST ON PROCESS MINING – WAREHOUSE MATERIAL MOVEMENT ANALYSIS TEMPLATE' blog . Unfortunately, getting this weird "Recursive write lock acquisitions not allowed in this mode" error.

I'm getting the error whenever I open the "Deploy warehouse material movement process" form, in addition to the "View process details" menu and "Process name" dropdown.

Is there any additional prerequisites for setting up Warehouse Management with Power Platform integration ? I've double-checked the blog post and Microsoft documentation, but I might have overlooked something.

Do you have any specific suggestions for troubleshooting this error ?

Hi Mahesh,

Until now, I have used a Tier 2 environment for the material movement analysis. You can use the debugger to find out where and why it is raising this error. You can also check if you have the latest F&O version installed.
