how to publish Power BI report from D365 F&O to my workspace in Power BI
    Hy Jun,

    it depends on some factors.
Baiscally this will only work with a Tier 2 environemnt.

As Layen has written you need to do one step on the LCS, just import the report you want to have in your PowerBi Service Workspace to the LCS Power BI report model area.
Then you need to to go to the F&O environment (UAT, PRD, ...) where you want to have the data connection in the report.
On the System adminitsration/Setup select Deploy PowerBI files. May be you need to authenticate here for the LCS access.
Then you see the list of Power BI reports that are in your LCS environment.
Select the file you want to deploy to your Power BI Workspace and select "Deploy Power BI files"

During report deployment the data connection for this report will be changed to your current F&O environment.
After that the report should be available in your Power BI Workspace.

So if you deploy the same report e.g. in UAT and PRD it will be hard to identify the correct one in the Power BI.
An keep in mind there are different Licensing requirements using the report in Power BI Service.

The "copy link" as in your sceenshot does only hold the copy to your F&O page of the embedded report, not a link to the PowerBI

    Hope this helpd

Hi Andreas, thanks for the detailed guidance. Really appreciate it. My access to LCS is as below and I assume that I need to get admin access to the asset library. Currently I was set up a contributor. Then I should be able to see the Asset Library to deploy power bi reports. Please advise if my theory makes sense.

    Hi Jun,

You need to go to the asset library inside the project itself

So first, you need to look for the project and click it

then from the burger menu, choose Asset library

Then you can follow the video and the steps mentioned by Andrea

    Thanks,

    HI Layan,

Thanks for the response. Could you take a look from here  and advise if your role is admin or contributor?

    Hi Jun,

In organization users, yes I'm a contributor.
If you can't see any project, then they need to add you to the project, where your name will appear in project users:

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Steps to follow to make the report available in your workspace:
    1. Ensure you have a PowerBI pro licesnse to publish the report. It looks like you don't have a PowerBI Pro license to publish to the desired workspaces.
    2. Ensure that the .pbix file is added to the Asset Library from Dynamics Lifecycle Services -> Asset Library -> PowerBi report model

    3. Ensure you have the permissions to Deploy PowerBi reports from Dynamics 365 FO (System Administration -> Setup -> Deploy PowerBi Files).
Happy to answer questions, if any.

    Hi Layan,

The issue hasn't been resolved yet. I'm able to see a project and asset library without power bi reports. another odd thing is our IT doesn't see me in the LCS org.
