Tracking changes to entities in custom solutions

Hello Techies,

Of late we have been losing modifications done to the entities and their forms that are part of a custom solution.

Is there any way to audit the changes made to the entities? Even if the changes are not audited, is there anyway to know when and by whom the recent changes were made?

Many thanks for your input.

I'm not talking about auditing crm data. I'm talking about auditing or tracking changes to the entity structures and changes made to the forms in design mode.

I'm looking for robust solutions

Similar to the ones discussed in the below link
