Hello,
I am using AX2012 R3 with WMS.
My scenario: I have different batches of one item in one location. Mixed batches are possible.
Example:
Batches of item 0815 at location 1234:
- 20x 789
- 10x 456
Now I have a sales order with 25 pieces of item 0815. Work is created for 25 pieces.
On mobile device at picking process I have to pick 25. But I can't pick for example 20 pieces of batch 789 and 5 pieces of batch 456. It is important, that the batches are captured by the worker at picking. So it can be possible, that he takes 17 pieces of batch 789 and 8 pieces of batch 456. If I try this, I get the following error: "The quantity is not valid".
Can someone help me.

Found the reason for the error.
My used mobile device menu item for picking had a work confirmation setup for quantity. If I untick the checkbox, there is no error and on mobile device the left quantity is reduced after first batch pick.
Yes, there are no other sales orders reserving these items.
The under/overdelivery entry is in the sales order line. I reserve the amount and then I release the sales order to the warehouse. Where can I see, that under/overdelivery entry is copied in the work?
Just to clarify, you have no other orders that are reserving these items?
The under/overdelivery entry may be copied onto the sales order line and to the work your mobile device is using.
It may also be that the mobile platform does not support your changing quantities. May check settings or with your VAR. Dynamics Anywhere gave us this issue.
25 pieces are reserved.
Changing over and under delivery from 0 to 100 doesn't have any effect.
Same error at mobile device: "The quantity is not valid."
Check status of reservations, the entire item may be reserved on this order and elsewhere.
Check over and underdelivery on the item for sales. If it is 0 & 0 this may be stopping you from changing amounts.
