Hi nakul,
This is possible.
There are two parameters available in the project parameters form called 'create item requirement' and 'item consumption'.
Enable both of them and the costs will be posted when the PO receipt is posted.
If you enable only the first one, you will be asked whether you want to post the costs immediately with the receipt.
