Good day,
Does anyone have experience with setting up IOM in a multi DC strategy in a multi Legal Entity structure in D365FSCM?
We have a customer with multiple DC's and separate sales companies that require a mechanism for order fulfillment.
We have shopware 6 for webshop orders, EDI orders and manual order intake.
Some of the countries they operate in, have a sales office (LE) and a logistics company, the DC (LE)
Orders need to be split according to postal code and depending on actual on-hand inventory in multiple DC's so we are considering IOM as a solution.
We use D365FSM as ERP system which is interfaced with ASTRO WMS system.
If somebody can point me (and my team) in the right direction on do's and don't of IOM or has experience in these kinds of complicated logistics, then please advice.
Kind regards,
Marc Claasen
