Hi! I would like to ask anyone who can help me create a new company in gp, i mean i have an existing company which has complete setup from financial to inventory and i would like to copy the set up by creating a new one...is there anyway to do it?

    Just go to the following article in Great Plains and you can copy your setups using SQL:

    You will need to to first run GP Utilities to create the new GP company. Now if you want your test company to be an exact duplicate of your existing company you can take a SQL backup of that company and restore it over the company database you just created. Now if all you want are the setup values, follow the steps in KB 872709. Are you familiar with SQL or have access to someone who is?
