Work hours not showing on schedule board

Posted on by 2,909

After updating Dynamics to the new UI ad FS update some resources are not showing work hours on schedule board. I have deleted the affected users resource record however it appears it may not remove the linked calendar entry.

In the sandbox I have no issues with the same users.

I do on some resources get an initial error when going to work hours calendar:

Error code: 0x0Session Id: c1aea023-15a6-41bc-9480-c6fc77351c4bActivity Id: e8d26662-7c74-499c-bb21-e7078e141da7Time: Fri Feb 12 2021 13:14:22 GMT+1100 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)

This is not a selectable option and vaguely believe it may have been a checkbox on the old version when setting the calendar.

In saying this however this is a new user and resource post update.

Any ideas whilst I await MS.

    Hi,

Do you mean that set work hours in the following position?

If so, I can set it normally with Edge. May I know what exactly did you encounter when you did this on Edge browser.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

We have resolved the error with job bookings on the "bookable resource user".

We can't set work hours on the bookable resource calendar on Edge have to go to chrome.

I'm a sys admin and have made the user sysadmin for testing with no change.

    Hi,

I have some questions about your issue here:

    1. Are there any details or logs about the error prompt?
    2. May I know the security role and its privileges of the user logged in.
    3. Have you tried to log in with the System Administrator? If yes, does the same problem exist?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    Nya

    MS are a bit confused.

Now getting Invalid PrincipalId=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 Guid.Empty doesn't exist. when trying to drop a job on this user on the schedule Board. I have removed all roles made admin still no change. In sandbox set normal security role and can drop jobs on the user.

The previous error with GMT +11 only comes up once when looking at work hours calendar and the seems to rectify itself.

    Hi, antc

Since your description is a bit sketchy, and I cannot reproduce your problem.

Does the new UI you mentioned refer to the option highlighted in the following image?

It would be nice to provide some logs or screenshots when the error occurs.

Any detail about your operations is appreciated.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
