New benefits workspace - confirming benefits in benefits management & assigning life events

I am testing the new benefits management workspace and I have noticed several things, where I need some advice from another fellow D365HR here...

Confirmation of benefits:

I have created a benefit and it was processed successfully according to the set rules
As a team member, I can see the benefits in the self-service and chose the ones I wanted
The system correctly showed a message (blue tab) mentioning that I ´reserved/booked´ the benefit and the administrator will take it from there
As an Admin, when going to the benefits management the name of the team member is correctly showing in the ´unconfirmed selections´ tile and the box next to it as a line with the name, etc...
This is however where the smooth process stopped as I could not confirm the selected person and approve the benefit right there and then on the page (even when the line with the name was selected)
I was forced to click on the worker´s name to be taken to the profile, then go to benefits and there I could click on the benefit and approve.

My question is, where can one approve the benefits from the benefits management page and especially when it involves bulk approvals...

Processing life events

I go through the same process as in benefits, however, if I want to process the life events of all people in my legal entity (workers), I can add the legal entity, year and keep the names blank in order to capture the entire team, however, D365HR needs a specific date (DD.MM.YYYY) as opposed to blank if I want the whole year?!
It's inconceivable to go through every worker one by one... As long as their birthday is in the system or marital status changed, I expect the system to capture it.
The processing will not begin unless I add a specific date...
