How to setup automatic reservation of Batch numbers from BOM lines when productions are started or released? we want the system to tell the operation which Batch number is reserved to the production before consuming it.
we are using manual batch number for powder paint as written by the producer on original package.
right now; production is started and BOM reserved but no Batch number is specified in reservation (should be reserved by FIFO according to actual Item setup). what we know is that if pick list is made, system automatically takes the FIFO batch number.
is it possible when not using WM processes?. kindly appreciate your help and support
