How can I receive a notification when a form has been submitted?

Dear Members,

I was wondering if it is possible to receive notifications on mail once someone has submitted using a marketing form? What I have done now is set up a journey in which I have placed myself as the recipient in a mail. So once someone fills out the form I should theoretically receive the mail. However, I do not receive any mail. How can I receive notifications after someone fills out a form?

This is the form:

This is the journey, which seems to work fine and according the journey the mail has been send out. Note that the warning sign is because I send the mail as an transactional mail.

Here I tried two things. Earlier I also added {{contact.emailaddress1}} to the 'From addres', so that I would receive a notification in which I could immediately see who had filled out my form. This did not work so I put my own mail address on both fields the "from address" and the "to address". The mails seem to have been sent correctly but just don't arrive in my mailbox.

RE: How can I receive a notification when a form has been submitted?

    Hi David,

There are several ways to solve this issue.

First of all, in my opinion it is not good to actively use yourself as a contact when you are a user. Only for testing purposes.

    What I would do is:

    1. Create an On Demand workflow that sends an e-mail to your e-mail adress with the information you need.
    2. Then when choosing when to activate the Customer Journey, I would choose: "Start when: Sent a form" and then pick the form you need.
    3. After that I would create a Tile in the Customer Journey that activates your Workflow.

Like I said, there are many ways to solve this but this is how I would do it from the top of my mind. :)

Hope you can use it! Otherwise I am sure Nya will give her take on how to solve this.
