/Hi,

I am creating a build pipeline. I have configured it but when I run it I get an error saying /##[error]Container path not found: 'D://a//8//b//Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.Platform.CompilerPackage'
But all of the Nuget packages are pushed to my artifacts.
My repository also contains all the required files as well.

Can you guide me on what mistake I am making here?

    Hi ShahzaibAhmed,

Have you reviewed the settings with the documentation provided by Microsoft? Can you share some details about your pipeline settings? E.g. what settings do you have for Agent Pool and Agent Settings? You can review your settings also with a blog written by Denis Trunin: Step-by-Step Guide: Creating D365FO Build and Deploy Pipelines | Denis Trunin's X++ Programming Blog

Could you share the version numbers from your packages.config? They will need to match the version numbers in your Artifacts so worth checking.

Also, download and import the sample pipelines and compare your config:

Please share with us the configuration of the "Create Deployable Package" step of your pipeline.

To add to Francisco Silva's request, please could you also share the get sources config with the get deployable packages step?

    Hi,

Republish the nuget package Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.Platform.CompilerPackage to the Artifacts section after removing the artifacts section.

You need to add a variable for Microsoft.Dynamics.Ax.Platform.CompilerPackage under the variables section of the Build pipeline.

Also, would recommend to keep the nuget.config and the packages.config under a common repository. For example, recommend to move the nuget.config and the
package.config under a common repository as shown below. Easier to reference the nuget.config and packages.config through common variables and reference these common variables across multiple build pipelines.

In the build pipeline add these parameters in the nuget install packages step.
The above highlighted input parameters serve as arguments to the nuget install packages.

In addition to this, a few questions:
    1. Was this package published through the command line without adding this nuget package to Dynamics Lifecycle Services -> Asset Library -> nuget section?
    or
    2.  Was this package published through the command line after adding this nuget package to Dynamics Lifecycle Services -> Asset Library -> nuget section?

    3. Also, did you assign the contributor privileges to the Build Service account.

Happy to answer questions, if any.
