Hi Community
I am implementing D365 Marketing with a client of ours. As I don't want to let any update overwrite my customizations to the sitemap, I created a new model driven app based on the standard marketing sitemap and made some changes.
While the default Marketing App loads the Advanced Settings page perfectly, my custom Marketing App doesn't seem to load anything. I already checked, whether there are any missing entities (or tables ) in the app designer and added those missing. This didn't change anything. My user has sysadmin privileges so that can't be the issue.
Thanks for any help
Hi Clofly
Thanks for confirming my suspicion. I didn't even think about this workaround. I can live with this for the moment as most of the configuration will anyway be done through me and not the client.
I'll check the idea forum on whether this issue is already in.

Hi Lukas,
Unfortunately Advanced Settings is the only page that it is not supported to be added to sitemap of custom app.
In the default Marketing app, when the Advanced Settings page is opened, there is a hard coded config file running at background to render menu, and the config file is only associated with the default app.
While in custom apps or even with a custom app implemented from default solution(clone an app), this important file won't be generated automatically.
The workaround is to copy absolute URL of Advanced Settings page of the default Marketing app and paste it to the custom subarea, then Advanced Settings page will be opened in a new tab.(But it is in default app.)
Sorry for inconvenience, if you have any proposal, welcome to submit it on Ideas forum.
Regards,
Clofly
