Prefill Realtime Forms

Hi Community,

is there a functionality to prefill the realtime forms for leads or contacts?

I created a form in realtime and i use the own page with the marketing url like https://assets-eur.mkt.dynamics.com/.... (not the javascript embedded functionality). I want to add the form to the email and when the receipients clicks on it the form is prefilled. Like we had in outbound.

Is this possible? Or do we know when it will be possible?

Thanks!

    Hi,

Form prefill is on the roadmap for real-time journeys forms. We expect the prefill to be avilable in the first half of 2024.

Hi, was this idea raised within the Microsoft ideas portal? (https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas)
If so please share the link so that we can vote for it.

Still not available. I would wait until July to write this, but I'm not holding my breath that it will be delivered and actually work.

Even when using prefill, the form submission isn't linked to the same contact (guid) on form submission.

For example, when you a) add contact@email.com with guid123 to a segment b) send an email to that segment c) that contact clicks on the email link & submits a form d) a duplicate contact@email.com with guid345 gets updated & linked in the form submission.

Is there a way around this yet? i.e. a way to ensure guid123 is linked in the form submission, not guid345?

    Hi everyone,

I came across this post and thought I'd jump on and say this is now available as a Preview feature in Real-Time - the documentation on how to access this can be found below:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/journeys/real-time-marketing-form-prefill

    Hope this is helpful! :)
