DAX R3 - WMS Transactions Asked for Target License Plate ID

Hi All - I'm running a scenario for 2 step shipping against sales order using WMS mobile device. I have an item on hand with LP Id = LP00002. When i released an order to WMS and went to mobile device to pick the inventory, its picking the correct location & License Plate ID which is LP00002. Once inventory is picked it asked for target License Plate.

Do we always need to provide target License Plate ID for this or is there any configuration check box for this ? I didn't find relevant to this. I remember when i processed an Sales Order for One step shipping few months back, it didn't asked me for any target License Plate ID but why its asking me for Target License Plate ID.

I want to keep the same License Plate ID through end of process [Pick-Stage & Stage-Load location]. Is that possible ?

I have setup all the location profiles with 'License Plate Tracking' check box. Does one step sales order shipping doesn't required Target License Plate Id and 2 step shipping always does ???

    AX will ask for a Target LP if you are not taking all of the inventory off the LP which you are picking from. If you are picking all of the inventory on an LP, it will use that LP as the Target LP.

    If you do not want to enter a Target LP, you can set 'Generate LP' on the mobile device menu item; this will auto-generate an LP Id (it's not the same as using the source LP).

    Hi Terry, many thanks again for your attention, perhaps I'm having troubles because the LP I'm trying are not ”standard", but as I understand, I did:

    Sales order

    Stock reservation

    Release to the Warehouse

    Using the mobile device, I choose the "work id" and then I scan the LP and then once chosen all the goods contained in the LP the mobile device still asks for a new one.

     

    Maybe is because I'm missing something about the LP configuration or the units sequence, but after checked everything seems right.

    Anyway I will continue testing to find a solution.

    Sorry Chris, I lost track of this one. If it's still not working as you want, can you do some screenshots of the hand held from choosing the Work Id to when the mobile device asks for a new one?

    Hi Terry,

     

    Many thanks for your attention! After having a lot of annoying issues with that, I take the hardest way to solved it, erase everything and create a new warehouse with all the set up from the beginning! Fortunately, everything is working fine now, but after checking all the set up, it was impossible for me to find anything different between the current "working" configuration from the previous "non working".

     

    Sorry for the delay answering, I was enjoying my winter holidays!
