Interest invoice issue in collection process

Hi All,

We are using AX 2012 R2 RTM and I am trying to create an interest invoice as part of the collection process (AR > Periodic > Collections > Interest Calculation) but I am receiving the following error:

I am only receiving this error in one legal entity. In the other entities I am able to create the invoices using the same process. I tried with several different customer/invoices that all fit the interest criteria. Furthermore, the interest code setup is identical between the legal entities. I have tried with both interest codes and I have also tried setting up only 1 interest code. Here is a screenshot of my interest setup:

Does anyone notice an issue with this setup? If not, does anyone have any other troubleshooting ideas I can try?

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hi MrAxapta89,

Can you check your customer posting profiles and verify whether they link to the interest code setup? Also check whether the customer posting profile has the parameter for the interest calculation activated. Hope this helps,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

As always thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately the posting profile seem to be set up correctly (the interest checkbox is check for the "table" row as well". I have tested using both posting profiles and they both yield the same result.

    Hi,

I noticed that you have 30 grace periods setup. Can you change this setting and try re-running the periodic job again? The message above does not indicate that there is something wrong but rather that AX cannot find any record that matches the criteria setup.

Would be great if you could test and update us here.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

Again, thanks for the suggestion. No luck still, I changed the grace period to "0" and got the same error. I am wondering what is casuing AX not to find an invoice that fits the criteria because I have tried with invoices that are from 2014.

    Hi MrAxapta89,

The only other thing I could think of based on the screenprints provided is the currency setup 'USD'. Probably try to change / extend this setting. If this does not help try comparing the setups that you made for your companies and / or double check the following TechNet site technet.microsoft.com/.../gg243052.aspx

    Hope this helps,

    Ludwig
